SHORT VIEW OF POLAND 4 DAYS - Warsaw - Wieliczka - Krakow - Warsaw

Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw; transfer to Wieliczka, visit to Wieliczka Salt Mine (UNESCO Heritage) the most beautiful and the oldest operating salt mine in the world; transfer to Krakow.

Day 2
Krakow sightseeing: visit to the Wawel Royal Castle with cathedral and Krakow Old Town (UNESCO Heritage); further walk around Old Town: St Mary church, the Sukiennice cloth hall, defensive walls and Barbican; transfer to Warsaw

Day 3
Warsaw sightseeing: the Grand Theatre and Opera House, the Jablonowski Palace, visit to the Royal Castle, walk around the Old Town (UNESCO Heritage) and the New Town: the Krasinski Palace, the Palace of Justice and the Monument of Warsaw Uprising; bus sightseeing of the Town Hall, Umschlagplatz and the Monument of Heroes of Ghetto, Warsaw City with skyscrapers and a glimpse at monumental architecture from communism time; transfer to the Lazienki Royal Park, walk around the park with the Palace on the Water and the Island Theatre;

Day 4
Warsaw: time for shopping in Arkadia mall - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.

Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw; transfer to Malbork, visit to the biggest red brick gothic castle in the world (UNESCO Heritage) built for Teutonic Order Knights; transfer to Gdynia.

Day 2
Visit to Tricity (Gdynia, Sopot, Gdansk); Gdynia harbour, visit to the sail ship "Dar Pomorza"; transfer to Sopot seaside resort, walk by the promenade, pier; transfer to Gdansk, walk around the Old Town: the Arthur's Court, the Town Hall, the Old Crane, the cathedral; transfer back to Warsaw.

Day 3

POLISH MOUNTAINS 8 DAYS - Warsaw - Tatra National Park (Zakopane) - Pieniny National Park (Niedzica) - Warsaw

    The Tatra Mountain is a beautiful section of the Carpathian mountain range and the only one of Alpine character in central Europe. Situated on the border between Poland and Slovakia has a wide variety of flora and fauna. The highest peak in the Polish Tatras is Rysy (2499 m) and there are dozens of others rising to over 2000 m. The most interesting part and the most frequented by tourists is: Morskie Oko Lake, Kasprowy Wierch, Koscieliska, Chocholowska and Five Ponds Valley. The whole Polish Tatras area constitutes the Tatra National Park (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).

     Pieniny is the mountain range situated in southern Poland and northern Slovakia. Characterized by a variety of limestones builds picturesque, vertical and white rocky walls along the Dunajec River with the highest peak of Three Crowns (982 m). The most beautiful part of the mountain range with a unique landscape and many natural features is protected by the Pieniny National Park. The main attraction of this region is the rafting down the Dunajec River and walks up to Sokolica and Three Crowns summits.


Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw;

Day 2
Transfer from Warsaw to Zakopane, the highest situated town in Poland; walk to Bialy Potok Valley; traditional regional dinner ( if you want accompanied by folklore music); evening walk along Krupowki walkway, the main tourist attraction in Zakopane.

Day 3
Trip to Koscieliska Valley, walk to Mrozna Cave and Krakow Ravine with Dragon's Hole; back to Zakopane.

Day 4
Trip to Kasprowy Wierch by cable car, to admire beautiful panoramas of high mountains in the Tatra National Park (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) from 1957 metres over the sea level, walk down the slope to Polana Gasienicowa, passing by the Black Lake; stop in Murowaniec mountain hostel; walk down the slope to Zakopane;

Day 5
Trip to Polana Palenica, transfer by horse carriages to Morskie Oko, walk through Swistowka to the Five Ponds Valley; walk to picturesque waterfall Siklawica and down the valley to Polana Palenica

 

Day 6
Trip to the Pieniny National Park, slow easy walk to climb the highest summit in the mountain range - Three Crowns offering a splendid 360° panoramic view around; walk to Sokolica, the second biggest peak with a very high vertical rocky wall dominating over Dunajec River; dinner.

Day 7
Visit to Niedzica Castle; gentle rafting on Dunajec River to Szczawnica through the breakthrough in the Pieniny National Park where very high and steep rocky walls are dominating over the river, breathtaking view and a chance to see Three Crowns and Sokolica from the other perspective; transfer back to Warsaw; dinner.

Day 8
Warsaw past and present: communist Warsaw, X-anniversary stadium - the biggest open air market in Europe and Arkadia - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.

Please note: due to ex. bad weather conditions or temporary closed tracks a programme of this tour might be partially changed.

If it is more convenient for you to start and finish this trip in Krakow it is also possible.

POLISH MOUNTAINS 8 DAYS - Warsaw - Bieszczady National Park - Lesko - Sanok - Solina - Warsaw

 Bieszczady is a mountain range in southeastern part of Poland on a border with Slovakia and Ukraine. This is the wildest part of Poland with the highest peak Tarnica (1346 m). The most beautiful part of the mountain range is protected by the Bieszczady National Park and belongs to the Eastern Carpathian UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Besides mountains other tourist attractions are Solina artificial lake and a narrow gauge railway, as well as historical orthodox churches.


Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw.

Day 2
Transfer to Bieszczady Mountain; trip in horse carriages through the Bieszczady forest; dinner.

Day 3
Walking Tour
Guided walk and hike through the Bieszczady National Park: Smerek - Polonina Wetlinska - Berehy Gorne (about 6 h); stop in the highest situated mountain hostel in Bieszczady (1232 m) on Polonina Wetlinska.

Day 4
Train Tour
Ride in a narrow gauge railway through the forest, one of the biggest attraction of Bieszczady region; transfer to Lesko, picturesque village called "the gate of Bieszczady", visit to the 14th century Castle of the House of Kmit, "the Lesko stone", the synagogue and the Jewish cemetery.

Day 5
Walking Tour
Ustrzyki Gorne - Szeroki Wierch - Tarnica - Halicz - Rozsypaniec - Bukowska Pass - Wolowate (about 8 h); guided walk along one of the most scenic routes in Bieszczady mountain, on the Ukraine border, up to Tarnica (1346 m) - the highest peak of Bieszczady range mountain.

Day 6
Folklore Tour + Rafting
Visit to Sanok Open-Air Village Museum - the biggest heritage park in Poland presenting the largest number of historical buildings and folk architecture of the different ethnic groups; rafting on San River; regional dinner by bonfire with a variety of traditional dishes.

Day 7
Boat Tour
Transfer to Solina village, visit to the dam and water reservoirs; boat trip trough Solina Lake; transfer back to Warsaw.

Day 8
Warsaw past and present: communist Warsaw, X-anniversary stadium - the biggest open air market in Europe and Arkadia - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.

Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw.

Day 2
Transfer to Kazimierz Dolny, a picturesque town upon Vistula River beloved by artists, sightseeing; transfer to Sandomierz, visit to the underground cellars, walk around the Old Town.

Day 3
Transfer to Lancut, visit to the castle - one of the most beautiful aristocratic residence in Poland and to the stables with a very big collection of horse carriages; transfer to Zwierzyniec in the Roztocze National Park, ride in horse carriages through the forest; transfer to Zamosc, visit to the Old Town (UNESCO Heritage).

Day 4
Transfer to Grabarka, visit to the Crosses Hill - saint hill of the orthodox church with an orthodox church nearby; transfer to Hajnowka famous for organ and choir festival as well as old wooden orthodox church and a modern one; transfer to Bialowieza in the Bialowieza National Park (UNESCO Heritage and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), the biggest primeval forest complex in Europe, visit to a bison reserve, walk trough the forest.

Day 5
Transfer to Lipsk, gentle rafting on Biebrza River in the Biebrza National Park; transfer to Wigry in the Wigry National Park; dinner; night in a monastery hermits houses.

Day 6
Wigry: visit to the XVII century Camaldolese Monastery, catacombs and popes apartments; transfer through Szurpily famous for the Castle Mountain with the most beautiful panoramas of Suwalki Lake District, to Stanczyki, walk along viaduct of Romincka Forest; transfer to Gierloz, visit to the Wolfschanze - the Headquarter of Hitler on the Eastern front during the II WW; transfer to Swieta Lipka, visit to Jesuit monastery.

Day 7
Transfer to Mikolajki the most famous Masurian village with a beautiful marina; visit to the Luknajno Lake Reserve often called the Swan Lake (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve); boat trip on Sniardwy Lake - the biggest lake in Poland; transfer to Nowogrod, visit to the open air museum presenting traditional wooden buildings of the region; transfer back to Warsaw.

Day 8
Warsaw past and present: communist Warsaw, X-anniversary stadium - the biggest open air market in Europe and Arkadia - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.

Visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp museum (UNESCO Heritage); transfer to Wadowice - the Pope John Paul II birthplace, visit to the basilica where Karol Wojtyla (Pope) was baptized; transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska monastery with dozens of chapels spread around in a beautiful countryside scenery (UNESCO Heritage); transfer back to the hotel in Krakow.

Day 4
Transfer to Zakopane, the highest situated town in Poland, trip by cable car to Kasprowy Wierch to admire beautiful panoramas of high mountains in the Tatra National Park (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) from 1957 metres over the sea level*; time to walk along Krupowki walkway, the main tourist attraction in Zakopane with dozens of shops and souvenir stalls, regional arts and crafts; transfer to the Pieniny National Park.

Day 5
Pieniny National Park: slow easy walk to climb the highest summit in the mountain range - Three Crowns offering a splendid 360° panoramic view around; walk to Sokolica, the second biggest peak with a very high vertical rocky wall dominating over Dunajec River.

Day 6
Visit to Niedzica Castle overlooking Czorsztyn Lake; gentle rafting on Dunajec River to Szczawnica passing very high and steep rocky walls that are dominating over the river - breathtaking view; transfer to Wieliczka, visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine (UNESCO Heritage) the most beautiful and the oldest operating salt mine in the world, dinner 132 metres under the ground; transfer to the hotel.

Day 7
Ride through the white rocky complex of Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska adorned with castles situated on the top of those rocks dominating over valleys, Hercules Mace Rock; visit to the Ogrodzieniec Castle; transfer to Czestochowa; visit to the monastery, the most important pilgrimage place in Poland famous for its Black Madonna - the patron of Poland; transfer back to Warsaw.

Day 8
Warsaw past and present: communist Warsaw, X-anniversary stadium - the biggest open air market in Europe and Arkadia - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.

If it is more convenient for you to start and finish this trip in Krakow it is also possible

* in case the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch is closed due to ex. bad weather conditions a trip by the cable and ground railway to Gubalowka Mountain would be proposed

Transfer to Gniezno - former Polish capital, visit to the cathedral; transfer to Wenecja, visit to the narrow gauge railway museum; train trip to Biskupin, visit to the oldest settlement in Poland; transfer back to Poznan, walk around the Old Town: the Cesar Castle, the cathedral, the Town Hall;.

Day 4
Transfer to Wroclaw, walk along the oldest part of the city - Ostrow Tumski Island: the Old Town and the cathedral; visit to Panorama Raclawicka Museum, the biggest attraction of the city and to Hala Ludowa complex with gardens; free time for a visit to the ZOO (with the biggest collection of animals in Poland) or for shopping; transfer to Ksiaz; night in a castle hotel.

Day 5
Visit to the impressive XIII century castle in Ksiaz; transfer to Wambierzyce, famous pilgrimage place, visit to the sanctuary; transfer to Kudowa Zdroj spa resort, visit to the Skeleton Chapel, the spa building and the park, tasting the water from different health springs; time for evening relaxation (optional: massage, sauna, jacuzzi, therapeutic mud etc).

Day 6
Trip to the Stolowe Mountain National Park, climbing walk to Szczeliniec Wielki Mountain (919 m), the highest peak of Stolowe Mountain; visit to the Bledne Skaly Reserve - rocky maze of corridors; back to the hotel in Kudowa Zdroj; time for evening relaxation.

Day 7
Transfer to Klodzko, visit to the XVII century fortress with underground corridors; transfer to Zloty Stok, visit to the old gold mine and museum; transfer back to Warsaw.

Day 8
Warsaw past and present: communist Warsaw, X-anniversary stadium - the biggest open air market in Europe and Arkadia - the biggest shopping centre in Europe; departure to the airport.
